Relax With Cool Ocean Breezes ! - We are a resort on the idyllic island of Cat Island in The Bahamas.

Our island is renowned for its totally tranquil atmosphere, its lush natural vegetation and miles of untouched spectacular beaches. Culturally we are the birthplace for many of the really unique aspects of Bahamian life.

Add our intimate resort and our attention to your smallest comforts and you have all the ingredients for the vacation you desire.

We feature six individual one and two bedroom villas. Our Main House features a restaurant and bar, game room, fitness center, and indoor/outdoor dining areas overlooking our tropical landscape and turquoise waters. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, DVD library along with full bedroom and living room furnishing and a kitchenette with all the amenities.

Each intimate retreat has been tastefully decorated with natural woods and native stone. Settle into the sumptuous comfort of hand-crafted furniture and richly woven fabrics. Relax as cool ocean breezes whisper through your room and our discerning staff attends to your every need.

At the end of the day choose from our selection of Bahamian dishes including lobsters, grouper, conch, served with crab and rice or pigeon peas and rice. Or try our international menu.

Open 23 hours a day. Try our special Bahamian drinks and the world famous Kalik beer along with a full selection of wines and spirits. Special champagne available upon request.

Other Comments: Sixth largest of the more than 700 Bahamian Islands flung like jewels in the subtropical sea southeast of the United States, Cat stretches about 50 miles from north to south, some 325 miles off the Florida coast. The Atlantic Ocean lies to its east and Exuma sound on the west. By plane, it is an hour from Nassau.

This mystical island's rolling hills are the highest elevation in the Bahamas. Climb to the top of Mt. Alvernia where you'll get a bird's eye view of a scaled replica of a 12th century monastery called the Hermitage, While the Deveaux Mansion and nearby ruins dominate the coastline.
