The house is a short walk from The Maine House and Lake Christopher plus near Mt. Abram and Sunday River skiing areas. This restored historic farmhouse offers a combination of country charm with new and modern conveniences. This informal guesthouse has three separate but adjoining sections which can be used together for a large group of up to 24 or separately for small groups or individuals. Accommodations include hand-crafted fireplaces in each section, private entrances, handicapped access (in two sections) living room, dining room & fuflly equipped kitchen facilities in each suite. The house is fully equipped with all the basics like pots & pans and sheets & towels plus a few extras such as TV with built in DVD and VHS players and stereo system. The house offers a beautifully landscaped yard and flower gardens with an expansive lawn, built in fire pit, picnic tables, gass grills, access to the lake and canoes, kayak, windsurfers and other outdoor sports equipment. |
